In connection with the Freshers Day of PG students, the Department of Mathematics of Sacred Heart College, Thevara commenced “Chembakam pakkathil vaa” on 20th October 2022 at 3:30 pm in 3rd year mathematics classroom. The gathering began with a prayer and the program was anchored by Ms. Aswathy Ashok (II yr PG student). The welcome speech was delivered by Ms. Aswathy Ashok (II yr PG student).
The first year PG students were requested to wear black clothes for the program. The program was a stage to express their talents. There were a lot of cultural activities like dance and songs. To make the event more interesting and entertaining there were games held by 2nd year PG. This program was attended by the faculty members, first year PG students and second year PG students of the Mathematics Department.
The event was concluded after delivering the vote of thanks by Ms. Aparna P S (II yr PG student) at about 5 pm. Tea and snacks were provided to the audience at the end of the program.
